A massive shift to digital solutions is now well underway in warehousing and fulfilment but, as more companies make the move from manual to automated processes, do we risk leaving our employees behind?

With more than 35 years’ experience in supply chain technology, both on the vendor and end-user side, Tony has a unique understanding of the role of technology in helping companies achieve their strategic goals. Tony has held senior IT roles with e-commerce retailers, eBuyer and Play.com, designing and implementing systems which helped take both companies from start-ups to market leaders, before becoming CTO at e-procurement software provider, Wax Digital. He joined Synergy in 2012 as Operations Director and became CEO in 2013.

Initially joining Synergy to support the busy customer support desk, Stefanie has worked her way up through the ranks and was appointed as the company’s COO at the beginning of 2019. With a passion for problem solving, mentoring, and coaching, in her 20 years at Synergy, Stefanie has headed up the company’s support services, quality assurance and customer success teams, with extra responsibility for developing the implementation process. Stefanie is listed in the Top 25 Women Leaders in Software of Europe for 2021.

Maria Sopwith, Operations Director, Bunzl

Maria has more than 20 years of managerial experience within the distribution sector. Prior to joining Bunzl, she has worked for companies including Clipper Logistics, Cathay Investments and Howard Tenens Logistics. She has a proven track record in managing culture change and business growth.
