The 127-acre development, which has now secured planning permission, will be on the Red Brick Farm site, west of the town centre on the A15 link road to the A1(M).
A first pre-let deal is already understood to have been agreed.
Trebor Developments and partner, Hillwood, with landowner Church Commissioners for England, have agreed terms to develop the scheme with work on site beginning this summer.
Units will range from 20,000 sq ft to over 650,000 sq ft, delivered either in speculative phases or pre-let/sales phases to meet occupiers’ specific requirements.
