Magnitude Land has submitted an outline planning application for the site in Middlewich, Cheshire.
This development will capitalise on the new Middlewich Eastern Bypass, just off Junction 18 of the M6.
“We are gaining real momentum with over 1.5million sq ft of accommodation either in for planning or approved,” David Nuttall, development director at Tritax Symmetry, said. “This site is well located to service both the North and the Midlands and we continue to see strong demand across a range of sectors for accommodation of this nature.”
This year will see the development of a new facility at the Middlewich site for confectioner Swizzels, the first 158,000 sq ft of 458,000 sq ft being delivered imminently.
Magnitude Land is a joint venture between NPLL and Tritax Symmetry, the development arm of Tritax Big Box,
Magnitude Land is being advised by project team including Avison Young’s planning and EIA consultants, AEW Architects, civils and infrastructure specialist SGI, and Eddisons Highways consultants. Savills, B8RE and Legat Owen are joint agents for the scheme.
