Logicor wins 18 acre site at Knowsley

​​​​​​​Logicor has won planning permission for the 360,000 sq ft Liberty Park Widnes logistics development.

The 18-acre site in has direct access to the national motorway network via the Knowsley Expressway at the heart of South Liverpool’s employment zone. Logicor has appointed Stoford as Development Managers at Liberty Park Widnes.

“The area is acknowledged both regionally and nationally as a premier location for a wide variety of businesses, as well as for the UK’s fastest growing airport, Liverpool John Lennon, and it is set for further growth with the recent opening of Liverpool2 deep-water container terminal. With a skilled labour pool of 670,000 people and currently 264,000 employed in the manufacturing industry, there remains immediate access to a wide labour force in the region,” Tom Blakely, Director of Asset Management at Logicor, said.

DTRE and Avison Young are instructed as letting agents on both the existing building and the new warehouse.
