Games Workshop joins big operators at Kegworth, East Midlands

Construction work on Games Workshop’s 177,500 sq ft new East Midlands warehouse is now complete ahead of schedule, despite the pandemic lockdown.

Developer Segro was behind the unit built at SEGRO Logistics Park East Midlands Gateway, Kegowrth. To date over 2 million sq ft of space has been let at the Kegworth site.

Games Workshop signed a 15-year lease for the unit which will become the main distribution hub when it is operational in Autumn 2020. It joins other customers such as Amazon, XPO Logistics, Kuehne & Nagel and ShopDirect on the 700 acre- flagship site.

Andrew Pilsworth, SEGRO’s Business Unit Director, National Logistics, said: “Despite the construction challenges presented by necessary social distancing guidelines in recent months, we’re pleased to have safely completed the development ahead of schedule while adhering to the new measures.”
