Doncaster Council has granted Leeds based Wilton Developments Outline Planning consent for the development on 180 acres adjacent to junction 6 of the M18 at Thorne.
Work on site will begin later this year, with the first buildings completed by 2023.
Wilton Developments, who are behind the scheme, hint that they will launch speculative development. The full delivery schedule has yet to be announced.
