The Golden Triangle unit has been taken on a long term lease and will serve as Bleckmann’s new distribution centre in the UK.
The building includes online energy dashboards to help customers monitor energy usage, as well as rainwater harvesting and technology to optimise the use of natural light.
Lutterworth has access to the M1, M6 and M69 motorways.
The letting comes shortly after Gazeley confirmed that they plan a 255,000 sq ft development in Milton Keynes.
The site at Willern Lake is close to junction 14 of the M1 motorway and will be branded G. Park Milton Keynes.
There will be two units, one of 117,000 sq ft and one of 125,000 sq ft with up to 18 metres eaves height.
More deals are expected at Lutterworth. Four further units are available from autumn 2020 at sizes of 746,000 sq ft, 300,000 sq ft, 126,000 sq ft and 98,000 sq ft.
