Rexel, the electrical distributor, has signed up for a 184,000 sq ft Aylesbury warehouse.

Leading logistics developer Tritax Symmetry has signed a 15-year pre-let Aylesbury warehouse to Rexel UK at the second phase at Symmetry Park, Aston Clinton.

The 46-acre site is directly alongside the A41 close to junction 20 of the M25 motorway.

The new distribution centre is in addition to Rexel’s other existing sites and will upgrade the offering available.

This building forms one of three which are being speculatively developed as part of the second phase at Aston Clinton. Last September, cosmetics company Pangaea Laboratories pre let a 92,850 sq ft unit on a 15-year lease. The third and final building of the speculative second phase extends to 115,000 sq ft and is due for completion later this year.

The units are build in line with the UK Green Building Council’s framework, with each building will providing a minimum of 25% photovoltaic coverage of the usable roof area. A substantial power supply (up to 6 MVA) available.

Savills and Braiser Freeth are joint letting agents for the scheme.
