The main building has a footprint of 608,000 sq ft with three internal mezzanines each of 551,000 sq ft. Including ancillary space the building will be 2.2 million sq ft, according to documents presented to Dartford council’s planning committee.
The building is 22.8m high to the warehouse parapet and comes with 599 car parking spaces.
A green roof will be installed on part of the roof of the office building, which also includes a recreation area/viewing platform at the front of the offices with views over the Thames.
Speculation has been mounting since February that Amazon are to occupy the building.
Council officials expect the third phase of the Littlebrook site to consist of mostly smaller units of around 60,000 sq ft, in order to balance the large Amazon unit.
