Through these turbulent times, the supply-chain recruitment market is making a recovery, which presents opportunities for workers, and challenges for employers.

Monster has analysed supply and demand, and attitudes, in the warehouse, logistics and delivery recruitment market. Combining analysis of the most in-demand vacancies, and a survey of over 2,000 workers. We have uncovered critical insights for both workers and employers, and our new campaign, running from August into next year, is already attracting workers to occupations where recruiters are struggling to hire with over 50,000 new candidates already having watched our video promoting the industry.

Our analysis shows a growing increase in vacancies at all stages of the supply chain: with over 40,000 open vacancies in September in Warehousing, Logistics and delivery. Demand has been increasing since April. In fact, this is one of the few sectors where vacancies are already back at pre-lockdown levels.

Our survey found workers currently in the industry were more likely than average to looking to move job in the next 12 months with many concerned unhappy with how their current employer has handled the pandemic.
