Alcumus has partnered with London City Airport to offer a Permit to Work webinar.

Permit to work systems are an essential part of large-scale, hazardous environments such as the logistics sector.

It’s little wonder then that demand for Permit to Work software has risen rapidly over the past two years, as organisations have increasingly realised the dual benefit of controlling real-time risks whilst improving the speed at which safe work can be completed.

London City Airport partnered with Alcumus Info Exchange to ensure safe and smooth operations while an influx of contractors work on the airport’s £480 million development programme.

With over 1,000 people working around the clock at the airport, the new Permit to Work system needed to maintain strong regulatory compliance whilst allowing managers to make informed decisions to optimise their operational performance.

During this webinar, Nicola Barker, VP - Product at Alcumus will offer practical tips on how electronic permits to work can reduce human error and enable best practice.  Nicola will be joined by Caroline Maltby, Interface & Process Manager at London City Airport who will share how Alcumus Info Exchange elevated the airport’s user engagement whilst reducing administrative work.

Alcumus Info Exchange and London City Airport have won the 2020 Operational Excellence Innovation Award in the transport category from independent research firm Verdantix.
