2020 Logistics 100 Judging Criteria

Since its inception in 2015, the Logistics 100 project has brought together key members of the logistics community to network, educate and share. Our members are VIP guests at our events including the SHD Logistics Conference and IMHX VIP breakfast. They also feature in the pages of SHD Logistics magazine, on and competed for the Logistics 100 Award at The Logistics Awards annual gala, created to mark their achievements.

For 2019, we want to ensure that the Logistics 100 list focuses on people who work within operations. We also want to recognise key influencers at the heart of our profession, who head-up our associations, drive future skills projects or investigate and research logistics in academia.

For 2019, we have refined the list to ensure active logisticians are included in The Logistics 100. Key influencers will be recognised in our Top 5 Influencers.

The Criteria for the Logistics 100

The Logistics 100 must do/have/be one or some of the following:

Operational strength
The Logistics 100 are leaders of proven operations which are the backbone of their organisation/their client’s business. Their operations are flexible and proactive.

Driving change
Logistics 100 nominees challenge the organisation to re-consider its processes in the face of digitalisation and unprecedented change. Logistics 100 professionals will have made positive changes to culture and agendas and are unafraid to challenge traditional or outdated ways of thinking.

Capital investors
Logistics 100 nominees should influence buying decisions in an industry which adds over £90 billion to the UK's GDP.

Leaders of new companies ripping up the rule book and changing the logistics landscape.

Those selected to be part of The SHD Logistics 100 list are people who like to debate, engage, question, network and maximise the opportunities The Logistics 100 project presents.

Rising star
The 'Rising Star' is someone recognised to be a rising talent, who has demonstrated exceptional ability and ambition. Nominees will usually be aged between 18 and 32.

The SHD Logistics community

As the organiser of the UK’s largest intralogistics event IMHX and publishers of the UK’s leading logistics magazine SHD Logistics, it’s essential we connect with the industry we serve. Issues raised, feedback and insight from The Logistics 100 events will feed into what we do within the logistics industry.

Members of the exclusive The Logistics 100 ‘club’ are invited, as our VIP guests, to select SHD Logistics events including:

-    The SHD Logistics Conference
-    Exclusive IMHX/SHD Logistics Roundtable Events
