Zehnder Clean Air Solutions, the industrial air cleaning experts, will be at the UK logistics industry trade show IMHX from 24th - 27th September 2019. For the first time at the show, the Zehnder team will educate attendees on the effects of dirty indoor air and demonstrate how their units extract dust with a touch of a button.
Air pollution is a global crisis. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), 9 out of 10 people worldwide breathe polluted air. Often people don’t realise that the indoor air quality of their logistics facilities (among other activities) is often just as bad as the quality of the air outside, if not worse.
"The logistics industry is highly competitive, and many companies are making way for automation in their warehouses to transform and improve equipment, software and services ─ amongst other things", said Ben Simons, Zehnder, Country Man-ager for the UK. "Dust is often considered a fact of life in distribution centres and warehouses, but it can slow down operations and equipment. It’s persistent crea-tion in a logistics environment causes many logistics companies to invest more time and money than they need to on high- and low-level cleaning, machine maintenance and even staff retention."
Simons continued: "At Zehnder, we believe in educating organisations to improve their wellbeing, productivity and sustainability. We’re proud that our air cleaning systems have equipped businesses with the most effective clean air tools for competitiveness along with cleaner workspaces, equipment and healthier and happier employees."
