A 205,000 sq ft Worcester speculative warehouse scheme is to go ahead following a £15m funding deal – the first in Worcestershire for more than 10 years.
An overseas investor will funding a 160,000 sq ft unit and a 45,000 sq ft unit at Worcester Six Business Park.
The announcement gives the £120m business park a further boost after it was announced that work has already started on a £10m infrastructure upgrade. The developer is Birmingham-based Stoford, supporting by Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership through the Growth Deal and Worcestershire County Council.
Stoford will be submitting a reserved matters planning application hopefully by the end of November with a view to starting construction on site at the end of the first quarter of 2016. The two units should be completed by the last quarter of the year.
Strutt & Parker and Harris Lamb are letting agents.
