Wolseley, whose brands include Plumb Center and Build Center, are to close their 355,000sq ft Leamington Spa distribution centre.
The close of the Warwickshire centre is part of a three year restructuring plan due to cost around 800 jobs.
The restructuring, first revealed in September 2016, involves the closure of 80 branches.
The move to Leamington was hailed as a big relocation coup when the centre opened in 2006. An 18-acre site was acquired at Spa Park in Leamington Spa.
The site includes the 73,000 sq ft headquarters building houses around 400 employees and Wolseley’s 355,000 sq ft National Distribution Centre, employing around180 people.
