The Welsh Government is helping to fund an 84,000 sq ft specuilative warehouse development at Deeside.
Developers Trebor and Maple Grove Developments are promoting the scheme, which is grant aided via Welsh Government.
The development will include three speculative units of 10,000 sq ft, 24, 000 sq ft and 50,000 sq ft. Units will be available to purchase freehold or lease.
Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner of Trebor, said: “It has taken many months to bring this complex, brownfield site, forward, but with work now on site units will be available from early next year. We have strong interest already being shown in all unit sizes”.
Mark Diaper, associate director at Legat Owen, joint agents for the scheme with Cushman and Wakefield, continued: “There is a lack of good quality industrial space available in the North Wales area, which has meant many businesses looking to relocate have had to compromise on both location and build. Welsh Government’s proactive approach and ability to fund the development coupled with the joint venture’s determination to make the scheme happen has resulted getting this scheme off the ground.”
