Warehouses in Greater Manchester and Midlands future doubt

The collapse into administration of the Betterware and Kleeneze catalogue businesses throws into doubt the future of warehouses in Greater Manchester and the Midlands.

Both businesses specialise in door-to-door sales of home, garden, health, beauty and gift products.

Kleeneze occupied 101,000 sq ft at Heywood Distribution Park, Greater Manchester. The move came after the 95-year-old company agreed a £1.2 million funding deal with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority  to consolidate its logistics and distribution operation in Heywood and create up to 100 jobs in that area.

Betterware occupied 58,000 sq ft at Unit 2 Hurricane Park, Birmingham, located at the A47 Heartland Spine Road  approximately 1 mile from junction 5 and junction 6 of the M6. The lease expires in 2024.
