A Cheshire business has bought a 90,000 sq ft site at Warrington, and plans to occupy 70,000sq ft itself.
W T Howard, a supplier of MDF profiles, acquired the Park at Glazebury and plans to expand its northern operations as it looks to move in to the vacant 70,000 sq ft.
Albion Park sits on a five acre site, comprising seven buildings and is also home to Better Bathrooms and East Lancashire Commercials.
Acting on behalf of T & T Thompson (Holdings) Limited, Davies Harrison Real Estate sold Albion Park Warrington for £2.7 million.
Rick Davies of Davies Harrison Real Estate said: “There was strong demand for this site from both the owner occupier and investment market reaffirming our confidence in the strength of the current occupier market. However, W Howard was the preferred bidder as it was close to its Head Office and the growing company had an immediate need for the vacant space.”
Morgan Williams was the joint agent.
