Goodwood has signed a three-year contract with events logistics company DB Schenker as its ‘Preferred Logistics Supplier’ for its iconic annual event, The Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Sponsors, exhibitors and contractors can now benefit from a wealth of experience and technical expertise that DB Schenker Logistics will bring to the event environment.
This also means that for the first time, the Festival of Speed will experience a one-stop shop for complete event logistics, such as on-site handling services, international shipping, Health and Safety with CDM (Construction, Design and Management) regulations, and joint IT systems that bring real-time visibility.
DB Schenker will bring an increased level of service to the already well established event, a spokesperson for Goodwood commented.
Luke Bardall, Director for DB Schenker Fairs & Events UK, added: “The Festival of Speed is an extremely prestigious event and we recognise that Goodwood require a logistics supplier they can fully trust working with their sponsors, exhibitors and contractors. Therefore, we are delighted that Goodwood has chosen to work with us in view of our technical ability and the resources we have in the UK and within our global network.
“Goodwood is also an excellent platform to showcase our sustainable approach to event logistics and the operational efficiency we bring to every event and exhibition.”
