The UK’s only TV series dedicated to the world of trucks is returning for its second series in March 2016.

The six week series will commence broadcasting on Showcase TV Channel at the primetime slot of 7pm (before the Monday Night Football) on 7th March. It is available on SKY 261 / Freeview 402 and Freesat 254 TV platforms, and has been planned to finish the week before the CV Show 2016.

Presenters Tim Campbell (pictured) and Rob Hallam have been busy going around the UK and Europe to bring viewers footage of how many everyday objects in the road transport world are made, such as visiting the Renault Trucks plant in France and Tiger Trailers the UK’s newest trailer manufacturer for over 25 years as well as the SAF axles factory near Frankfurt.

Of course, it’s not just about watching how trucks and trailers are made - they also have great features covering all aspects of the truck world taking viewers behind the scenes at the Stuart Oliver Truck racing team, a look behind the scenes at one of the UK’s largest parcel sorting centres operated by MyHermes as well as watching college students and the Think Logistics team with DAF Trucks.

Due to popular demand, viewers' favourites still remain, with road tests including the UK’s first electric Chinese-based truck and “Truckers' gripes” where truck drivers get the chance to have their say on the big issues affecting the industry, as well as the infamous 'out-takes' in the final episode.

TruckWorld TV, sponsored by AutoTrader Trucks, will launch an updated website during the series enabling a more interactive experience for viewers as well as providing a dedicated section for school and college leavers who are interested in finding out more about the road transport and logistics sector.

Finally, the weekly episode schedule will be available later in the month and via the SKY EPG system.
