California-based logistics developer Panattoni is to build a 625,000sq ft speculative M1 motorway warehouse scheme near Northampton.
Three buildings ranging from 92,000sq ft to 310,000sq ft will be completed by the end of 2019. In addition there are two build-to-suit sites of 260,000sq ft and 780,000sq ft. When completed it will total 1.6m sq ft.
The 90-acre plot Panattoni Park Northampton is next to junction 16 of the M1 motorway.
Charles Spicer, industrial director at Savills, said: “After being involved with the site for a number of years, it is hugely exciting to see construction works starting. The speculative development will deliver much needed grade A industrial supply in the Golden Triangle.
