A US-based developer is to build a 372,000 sq ft warehouse at the northern end of the M6 toll road in Staffordshire.
Philadelphia’s Exeter Property Group, working with Birmingham-based Graftongate, has applied for planning permission for the warehouse on a 20-acre site at Blakeney Way, Kingswood Lake Business Park.
Kingswood Lake Business Park was developed by Staffordshire County Council and is already home to major firms including environmental company Veolia and delivery giant APC Overnight.
Last autumn it was disclosed that First Choice Group, the Staffordshire catering supplies business, is to build a new 100,000 sq ft depot at the Kingswood site. Cannock.
Exeter have been increasingly active along the M6 corridor. In September 2015, working with First Industrial, they applied for planning permission to build a 357,700 sq ft distribution facility on an 18-acre site at Logistics North, Bolton.
