United Pallet Network adds three members

United Pallet Network (UPN) is further establishing its position in the Pallet Network Sector with the addition of three new members – LHT Logistics, AT Morgan and Son, and Spartan Distribution.

Chingford based LHT Logistics is FORS Silver accredited.

“We are delighted to have become a member of the United Pallet Network. We see UPN as an ideal fit for our business”, said Ben Ruby - LHT Logistics Managing Director, “We knew when choosing UPN over several other networks that we were joining a quality driven network which would quite quickly become integral to our business moving forward”.

Swansea based A.T. Morgan and Son is a privately owned family business that has spanned over four decades.

“We felt that a new challenge was a nice way to branch out”, said Helen Morgan – A.T. Morgan and Son Managing Director, “We also felt that UPN also prided itself with a professional service.”

West London based Spartan Distribution is providing links between west London and the UK and Europe.

“I am really pleased to be welcoming these high quality members into our network. Being part of UPN means our new members will now have access to the widest range of UK next day and economy services for palletised freight,” Commented David Brown – UPN Managing Director.

“They will also be able to send freight in the widest range of freight types, from 150kg up to 1,200kg per pallet.”

This year UPN has established its position in the pallet network sector with its “Unique IQ” Initiative which homes in on the company’s distinct point of difference within the sector in terms of its “IT” and “Service Quality”, its unique IT support systems and infrastructure, and its focus on service quality excellence.

The UPN network is underpinned by an advanced web based performance monitoring system to provide customers with clear on-going visibility of all freight movements. Clients also have access to an online customer booking system, a track and trace facility and real time live signature capture.

“One of our strengths over our competitors”, said David “is our sophisticated UPN in house IT system, with live signature capture on both IOS and Android platforms.”

UPN currently have over 90 members covering the whole of the UK, and European partners providing coverage throughout 26 countries.
