Union Industries completes bespoke installations

The Leeds based company, which designs, manufactures, installs and maintains its own range of fast acting doors, has installed two robust Bulldoors at the company’s site in Mayfield, Dalkeith.

Interflex Group has been providing advanced packaging solutions with flexible, responsive and consistent service for over 30 years and is recognised as a global leader in innovative packaging.

The new doors have been installed as a pest control measure to assist whilst forklift trucks transport products to and from storage areas. With an opening speed of 1.6m/s the doors are an ideal solution for these high traffic openings.

The Bulldoor comes with free entry into Union’s Lifetime Warranty Scheme which was introduced several years ago. This cover, which is included as standard, not only provides an extensive guarantee but also includes service visits from Union’s highly trained technicians as required.

Steve Moultrie, Technical Sales Engineer at Union Industries, said: “The Bulldoor has gained a reputation for being an extremely durable door in all industry sectors due to its ability to deal with high levels of traffic with minimal downtime. It is the ideal solution for Interflex, as it has been for a range of manufacturing companies.”

Norman Baldwin, Engineer at Interflex Group, said: “The bespoke high speed Bulldoors have effectively solved a regular and ongoing pest problem that we had on site. We have been extremely pleased with the quality and efficiency of the installations as well as the professionalism of Union’s engineers that fitted the doors.”
