Planners have given the go-ahead for a 1m sq ft A1 logistics park in Bedfordshire.
National logistics specialist db symmetry has been granted reserved matters planning permission at Symmetry Park, Biggleswade in Central Bedfordshire for the development of over 1m sq ft of logistics and manufacturing (B2/B8) space in five units ranging from 72,000 sq ft – 515,000 sq ft.
The 50-acre site forms the sixth phase of the Stratton Business Park and is located just 600 metres from the A1, two miles to the south east of Biggleswade.
In a separate move IM Properties have taken another step towards development of 4m sq ft on a 238-axcre site close to junction 11 of the M42 in Leicestershire.
After discussions with council officers a planning application is expected later this year.
