Ted Baker, the fashion brand, is to take a 323,895 sq ft speculative warehouse in Derby.
Goodman and Anglesea Logistics Partnerships have announced the pre-let of Angle 325, a high specification warehouse at the 165-acre Derby Commercial Park, to No Ordinary Designer Label Limited, the group that owns the global lifestyle brand Ted Baker.
Once fully operational, it will serve as the new Pan-European Distribution Centre for the retailer, handling all operations for its retail, wholesale and ecommerce businesses across Europe. The warehouse will be ready for occupation in May.
The warehouse features a 55m service yard and 15m clear internal height, 38 dock levellers and four level access loading doors, parking for 102 HGVs, together with 15,000 sq ft of office space.
The deal seals the fate of one of three speculative warehouses being developed by Anglesea and Goodman. The two further distribution warehouses of 336,700 sq ft and 266,570 sq ft respectively are being developed at Goodman’s sites at Andover Business Park in Hampshire and London Medway Commercial Park. Both facilities are expected to be completed and available for immediate occupation by the end of February.
