A derelict 18-acre site in Stockport is to be converted in a 145,000 sq ft scheme likely to appeal to last-mile delivery operators.
The site is alongside junction 1 of the M60 and only eight miles from Manchester Airport and is one of the the best-connected locations in the North West.
Seddon has been chosen as the main contractor for the Aurora Stockport scheme.
Aurora Stockport will transform the derelict site into a modern 145,000 sq ft industrial park comprising 10 units ranging from 8,700 sq ft to 47,000 sq ft. Selected following a competitive tender process, Seddon brings a wealth of experience from across the construction and industrial sector.
It is anticipated that work on site will begin spring 2016 with the first units available for businesses in early 2017.
