Savills, jointly with JLL, has let Unit A on St Vincent’s Trading Estate in Bristol to Wolseley UK Limited on behalf of London & Cambridge Properties.
The trade distributer of plumbing and heating products and supplier of building materials, has agreed a new 10 year lease. The property provides 25,982 sq ft (2,414 sq m) of accommodation made up of warehouse and offices on two floors.
Located 1.5 miles from Bristol city centre, St Vincent’s Trading Estate has become one of the premier trade counter destinations for occupiers looking for a central Bristol presence. The estate is already home to trade occupiers Benchmarx Kitchens (Travis Perkins Group), Cromwell Tools, Smith Brother Stores and Audi.
Robert Cleeves, director in the industrial agency team at Savills, comments: “We are delighted to have secured Wolseley as new tenants on behalf of our client. Unit A’s close proximity to the city centre and synergy with other occupiers on the estate make it an ideal local base for the national trade occupier.
“There is only one unit remaining on the estate and we feel that this will not be on the market long with the current level of interest being shown from trade occupiers. Unit C1 is a prominent roadside property and totals 9,906 sq ft of prominent trade property”
CBRE advised Wolseley.
