Labyrinth selected as an auditor for the DVSA’s Earned Recognition Pilot.

Labyrinth Logistics is delighted to announce that it has been selected as an auditor for the DVSA’s trial of the Earned Recognition (ER) concept. Labyrinth has also embedded the ER question set within its award-winning online audit SilkThread®, meaning that companies can self-audit to the ER standard before they invite the external auditor in. Companies can therefore ensure that they are 100% ready for ER before applying.

The DVSA announced plans for Earned Recognition last year and have made clear their intention to use this new approach to improve road safety. In the pilot phase the DVSA are working to refine their plans for Earned Recognition to ensure the initiative works to target regulatory resources where they are most needed.

Labyrinth MD Ruth Waring FCILT said:  “This is a golden opportunity for operators to get in on the ground floor with Earned Recognition and have the chance to understand exactly what it could do for their company and give their feedback towards influencing development of ER.

For the vast majority of compliant operators Earned Recognition aims to deliver significant benefits – we suspect some companies will be keen to get on the front foot in making sure it will work for them”
