Ross Handling becomes Derby Ruote distributor

Ross Handling has been awarded sole distribution rights to sell Derby Ruote’s world famous industrial wheels and castors from its purpose-built warehouse in Leicester.

Based near Milan in Italy, Derby Ruote is an industry leading manufacturer of castors and wheels famous for their functionality, competitive pricing and high quality. With a growing market in the UK, it began looking for a distribution partner who could sell its product from Britain.

Derby Ruote had already been working with Ross Handling for several years alongside other UK businesses. But when it came to looking for an exclusive distributor, Ross says it stood out for its strong business values and drive to be the best.

Fluvio Torti, Managing Director at Derby Ruote, commented: “We were looking for a company we could grow with, which shared our values and ambitions, and having worked with them for 10 years we knew we had found that in Ross Handling.”

The partnership with one of Europe’s finest castor manufacturers means Ross is able to focus on its core value of quality products, in stock at competitive prices.

Louise Horne, a director at Ross Handling, added: “We understand that waiting weeks for a product could have a huge effect on business, which is why we pride ourselves on having the products that our customers need, when they need them. Now we can guarantee these high-quality products for competitive prices, the very next day.”

Torti, concluded: “We are very happy to be entrusting our UK distribution rights to them. This partnership will mean that Derby Ruote can now meet the ever-growing demand of our UK market.”
