Leading forwarding specialist, Rhenus Logistics UK, has moved its Hull facility to a larger site, in order to support continued growth. The new premises, based in the city’s Saxon Business Park, marks further investment for Rhenus in its UK operations.
Relocating from a previous facility in Wellington House, Beverley Road, the new location provides closer links to the local infrastructure, giving the Rhenus team even greater accessibility to customers across the Humber region. The move has also enabled Rhenus to deliver further customer focus, with the latest versions of its popular web-booking and track and trace customer tools now available.
The strategic move of the Hull facility is the latest in a series of exciting expansions for Rhenus in the UK. To celebrate the opening of the unit, Rhenus will be welcoming a number of key customers and local dignities to the facility on 05 December.
On the topic of the move, Gary Dodsworth, Country Manager Rhenus UK, said: “Due to our continuous growth, the decision to move the Hull facility to the Saxon Business Park signifies a major step forward for Rhenus’ operations in the region. Over the past 12 months Rhenus has seen numerous developments across UK region including a new facility in Manchester, additional routes launched to both Europe and Asia and an expansion of their temperature-controlled logistics division.”
