Construction work on Rhenus Logistics’ new trimodal Salford HQ has been completed.
The freight logistics group’s new 50,000 sq ft HQ is at Port Salford on the Manchester Ship Canal, hailed as the Uk’s first tri-modal inland port.
CPUK Group constructed the new faciloity for Port Salford developers Peel Group.
The Boysnope Wharf warehouse and infrastructure project is expected to be fully operational by the end of this year and its construction harnesses the combined skills of two CPUK Group operations – CPUK Construction and CPUK Civils and Remediation.
The new warehouse and office development occupies a 3.3 acre site designated within the Port Salford development area and includes 10,000 sq ft of offices for the freight logistics giant.
In addition, CPUK Group provided 16 dock levellers and shelters, a service yard, car parking and external landscaping. The development has been designed by Manchester-based Bate and Taylor Architects.
