Prologis will speculatively develop a 156,670 sq ft Kettering warehouse.
The building will include a rooftop solar installation that will generate 10% of the building’s regulated energy. Completion is expected in the summer of 2017.
Prologis Park Kettering totals 1.7m sq ft and is close to Junction 7 of the A14, which links directly to the M1, M6 and A1(M).
“This distribution centre is the next step in our measured approach to speculative development,” said Andrew Griffiths, Managing Director, Prologis UK. “Our customers trust us to deliver the buildings they need, so it is important we anticipate their requirements and ensure we have modern, high-quality facilities in prime locations.”
Burbage Realty and Budworth Hardcastle are acting for Prologis.
