Prologis UK sustainability officer Simon Cox is the first speaker to be announced for this May’s SHD Logistics Conference, to be held at London’s British Museum, themed Transforming Logistics Through Technology.
Automation is reshaping the logistics landscape, influencing power and labour requirements and changing the warehouses in which goods are stored and shipped.
Prologis has been trialling new technology in its warehouses to help it inform its thinking around the warehouse of the future. Cox will discuss how warehouses are now becoming more and more adapted to integrate the increased levels of automation seen today.
Cox is currently responsible for managing the sustainability strategy for Prologis across Europe. Specialising in energy and technology within industrial logistics buildings, Cox has been involved in several complex projects, including a large-scale automated building for Sainsbury’s.
The SHD Logistics Conference will be held on Tuesday 14th May, with delegate passes available at an Early Bird rate of £245 plus VAT.
