Plans have been lodged for a 686,000 sq ft warehouse at Warrington’s Omega South site.
The warehouse - believed to be for online retailer Hut Group - is close to the 600,000 sq ft depot already signed to supermarket giant Asda.
Warrington council is expected to decide the application before Christmas.
The site is earmarked for 2.1m sq ft of largely warehouse floorspace.
Omega Warrington is a joint-venture between Miller Developments and KUC Properties, part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Real Estate Asset Management, in partnership with landowner the Homes and Communities Agency and supported by Warrington council and the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership
