A 45-acre logistics site is to be developed at Lichfield. Located beside the established industrial area of Fradley Park, the new 44.77 acre development has planning permission for a total of 890,000 sq ft in buildings ranging from 111,405 to 687,987 sq ft.
Next to the A38 north of Lichfield, Prologis Park Fradley is close to the M42, M6, M6 Toll and M1 motorways and within easy reach of both East Midlands and Birmingham International Airports as well as rail freight terminals at Hams Hall National Distribution Park and Birmingham International Freight terminal.
US logistics giant Prologis and joint venture partner Wittington Investments (Developments) Limited are behind the plan.
Andrew Griffiths, managing director of Prologis UK, said: “There are very few industrial sites with planning permission in the West Midlands, so we are already seeing a high level of interest in the new park from companies, each of which could bring hundreds of new jobs to the area.”
JLL, Harris Lamb and Savills are advising the developers.
