Peel Logistics has beefed up the marketing effort for one of the largest warehouses near the Port of Liverpool.
The move comes ahead of next year’s opening of the Liverpool2 post-panamax container terminal.
Peel Logistics has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to join existing agents JLL at the Knowsley 700 scheme.
The 45 acre brownfield site, which is situated in the well established Knowsley Business Park, will be able to provide Design and Build units over 700,000 sq ft. The site benefits from being close to the M57 motorway, Knowsley Rail Freight Terminal and the Port of Liverpool.
Jason Print of Cushman & Wakefield said: “The strategic location of this site in a proven distribution area with excellent communication links and an 8Mva power supply means that it is well placed to satisfy both logistics and manufacturer’s demand from local, regional and national occupiers. We are looking forward to working with Peel Logistics to deliver what we are sure will prove to be a successful scheme.”
