New occupier parks up at Milton Keynes' The Cube

NFU Mutual, advised jointly by Savills and MWRE, has let The Cube on Bransworth Avenue in Brinklow, Milton Keynes to Mercedes-Benz.

The global automobile brand has agreed to a new 10-year lease for warehouse space totalling 93,707 sq ft (8,705 sq m) and will pay an annual rent of £670,005. Mercedes-Benz plan to use the unit for parts storage and distribution.

Toby Green, director in the industrial & logistics team at Savills, comments: “The Cube offers extensively refurbished warehouse accommodation in a well-established industrial location with excellent access to J13 and 14 of the M1. There continues to be a significant lack of supply of good quality mid box units in Milton Keynes and along the M1 and this provided Mercedes-Benz with an opportunity to acquire space close to their existing Milton Keynes facility.”

Akhtar Alibhai, director of industrial & logistics at Colliers International who advised Mercedes-Benz, adds: “The new premises at The Cube is conveniently located close to Mercedes Benz’s existing site, thereby causing minimal disruption to their talent, allowing for an easy exchange between the two locations. We are confident that this site will meet their business needs well into the future as the business continues to thrive.”
