The Logistics Awards 2018 earlybird booking deadline ends soon

Time is running out to book your table at the Early Bird booking rate at The Logistics Awards. Secure a table for your colleagues and customers by Tuesday 31 July to enjoy a discounted rate at the most prestigious awards event for the UK logistics industry, taking place on Thursday 20 September at Shakespeare's Globe, London.

Supermarket and retail giants Ocado, Sainsbury’s and John Lewis head an esteemed list of supply chain operations competing across multiple awards categories, including the Technology Innovation Large award, sponsored by Syft.

Both Operations Large and SME categories, sponsored by Toyota Material Handling UK, feature other familiar names such as Heineken, KP Snacks and Honda, and outstanding supply chain achievements from companies including Silentnight, who worked with BigChange Apps to save 400,000 litres of fuel worth £500,000, cutting CO2 emissions by over 1 million kilos.

Safety (sponsored by Mentor), Warehouse Efficiency, Environment/Sustainability (sponsored by Calor) and Innovation (sponsored by Continental Tyres) awards are also highly competitive categories.

The Swan, Shakespeare's Globe is the venue for The Logistics Awards 2018

Last month, an independent panel of judges, including new members Wincanton’s Marcos Hart, Scala Consulting’s Dave Howorth and Health and Safety Executive’s Alan Craddock, all assembled to produce this year's shortlist of outstanding projects and to decide the winners of each category, including this year's Overall Winner.

The Logistics Awards, now in its fifth year, celebrates the best logistics projects over the past 12 months. Taking place at the Shakespeare’s Globe along London’s South Bank, as many as 350 guests across the UK logistics industry are anticipated to be in attendance. In celebration of this milestone, The Logistics Awards will host a new special category for the 2018 edition – the Winner of Winners award – the best Overall Winner over the past four years, which includes this year’s award recipient.

Previous Overall Winners include Marks & Spencer (2014), Kellogg’s with Voiteq (2015), Clipper Logistics with John Lewis (2016) and Pharmacy2U (2017), who will all compete to win the WoW Award along with the 2018 Overall Award winner.

Network and celebrate the industry's best by attending this year's leading industry awards event on Thursday 20th September.
