VMT9000 series: The size-optimised and high-performance logistics terminals of the new generation are equipped with many innovative features. Now, process data can be made available directly via an installed IoT client. This also allows direct communication with the cloud platform Big-LinX from ADS-TEC.
The new VMT9000 series with its high-quality design follows the tradition of award-winning ADS-TEC operator panels. The terminals are available in 4:3, and for the first time, in widescreen format, equipped with the latest Windows® 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB, Linux, Android and IGEL operating systems. They are available in the sizes 10.4, 12.1 and 15 inches. Even more power is provided by the technology of the latest Intel Atom® Quad Core (Apollo Lake) processor. Our terminals are completely dust-tight in accordance with IP66, and protected against strong jets of water, suitable for temperatures from -30 °C to 60°C indoors and outdoors, and with impact-resistant displays with IK08 protection, as well as scratch and abrasion resistant surfaces. With their sturdy die-cast aluminium housing, they can be used flexibly on vehicles and, thanks to their extremely compact design, are ideal even in confined spaces. The service shaft is easily accessible and allows smooth installation.
Anti-glare displays for full sunlight are standard. The customer can choose between a resistive industrial touchscreen or a PCAP multi-touch display (glove touchscreen operation is available). A brightness sensor controls the display illumination. For driver recognition, a proximity sensor is integrated which automatically darkens the display when exiting and optimises energy consumption.
The UPS function ensures uninterrupted operation for 10–15 minutes. A wide-range power supply unit for 12–48 V on-board systems is integrated for connection to various vehicles. A stable WiFi connection can be achieved at any time via an external WiFi antenna (optionally also via WWAN and GPS). RFID user recognition secures access to data.
Hence, the VMT9000 series is completely in step with the new age of Industry 4.0.
In addition, an optionally installed IoT client makes a wide variety of data directly available. ADS-TEC faces the challenge of managing and maintaining a growing number of devices in the field by integrating the VMT9000 with its in-house IoT Big-LinX service platform, which provides comprehensive monitoring data (e.g. operating hours, operating temperatures, SSD S.M.A.R.T values and various asset data). Integrated Remote Access (X-Remote Global, also developed by ADS-TEC) allows to establish a secure and fast connection from anywhere. The result is an extensive solution kit for Industry 4.0.

The MMT8000 “Machine Mounted Terminals” series for machine and plant operation in hygiene sectors
The easy-care and fanless industrial PCs of the MMT8000 series are perfect for use in the demanding hygiene sector and impress with their compact and seamless design. Enclosed in glossy stainless steel, without screwed connections and dirty edges, they meet the strict requirements of the food, beverage, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Customer-specific solutions can be easily implemented by remote control key units. The terminals were developed in cooperation with well-known machine manufacturers and the EHEDG. They are available as a digital monitor solution for existing industrial PC environments (MMD8000 series), as well.
The IoT service platform Big-LinX® in conjunction with firewall and router creates a powerful solution kit for growing infrastructures
In combination with the ADS-TEC firewalls and routers of the IRF2000 series, as well as the X-Remote operating software (local and global), Big-LinX is an effective IoT solution kit. With the move to Azure, the open interface structure and numerous operating modes, Big-LinX is transformable and can grow with the customer’s dynamic infrastructure. Remote service, condition monitoring, device management and future data analysis using predictive maintenance applications can be adapted to the market environment and easily integrated into existing IT systems. Visualisation of data with customised dashboards is also possible. Even for the Chinese market, an officially recognised solution is offered.
