The Supervisory Board of Linde Material Handling GmbH has extended the contracts of the Chairman of the company's Management Board and the Chief Financial Officer, Andreas Krinninger by four years.

Krinninger, in his role as President of the Linde MH EMEA Operating Unit (Europe, Middle East, Africa) – part of the KION Group – will continue to oversee operations until at least the end of 2021.
“Andreas Krinninger is responsible for the successful progression of the Linde brand from solely a manufacturer of industrial trucks to a solutions provider for the entire material flow,” explains Thomas Toepfer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Linde Material Handling GmbH. “Krinninger has done a great job in recent years and continues to run the Operating Unit with great customer focus, passion and a clear strategic orientation.”
“I am extremely pleased with the trust placed in me by Linde Material Handling’s Supervisory Board and would like to thank them for this new mandate,” adds Krinninger himself. “I will continue to lead our team of highly motivated employees along the path we have charted. We want to continue to work in close partnership with our customers in future and to offer tailored material flow solutions for each assignment.”

He was a director at KKR Capstone between 2007 and 2011. Prior to this, he held senior management positions at fittings manufacturer Grohe and airline caterer LSG Sky Chefs.

He studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), in Cambridge, USA. He then spent the first few years of his professional career at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen before going on to gain a Master of Science degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
