Visitors to Pyroban’s stand at IMHX 2016, from 13-16 September, at the NEC in Birmingham, can learn more about the latest European Safety Standard for explosion protection of material handling equipment operating in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Pyroban carries out explosion proof conversions of mobile equipment, including forklifts so they can be used safely and legally within hazardous areas. Specialists from the company will be on stand number 12V70 to educate and advise visitors about the current European Standard and discuss specific explosion protection and safety requirements, and the upcoming requirements of EN1755-2015.
“We work with chemical, paint, food, drink, waste, coatings, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, bottled gas and logistics businesses, where the risks are high and superior safety is critical,” explains Matthew Shirkie, Global Sales Manager of Pyroban. “As well as engaging with new customers in these industries, we will take the opportunity at IMHX to listen to what our existing customers need, to educate companies about the latest directives and standards and, most importantly, learn more about how we can help companies protect their staff, equipment and operations, from the risk of an explosion.”
The company has approval from leading manufacturers of materials handling equipment to carry out explosion proof modifications and provides end users with the opportunity to choose their preferred supplier, helping businesses to reduce lifetime cost, improve efficiency and, above all, to operate safely. The company also provides a complete service support structure across Europe and offers an annual safety audit Ex-ASA to help companies achieve continued compliance with ATEX/DSEAR.
