JF Hillebrand, the UK’s leading beverage logistics provider, was today named ‘Best Logistics Company’ at the annual Drinks Business Awards for the 11th time in the company’s history.
The awards – which take place every year at London Wine Fair at London Olympia in London – are internationally respected in the alcoholic drinks industry and entered every year by the sector’s leading producers, retailers and supply chain partners.
JF Hillebrand has dominated the logistics category since the awards began 16 years ago, winning the accolade 11 times. The 2018 success is their 5th successive victory having picked up the award every year since 2014.
Judges commended the company’s constant commitment to innovation and strong performance despite challenging market conditions. JF Hillebrand’s commitment to reducing its climate impact was also recognised, with the company making significant strides towards its 2025 target of 45% carbon emissions reduction, with carbon dioxide emissions per container having been reduced by 24%.
Sebastien Desreumaux, UK managing director of JF Hillebrand, said: “Being named Best Logistics Company is a great honour for us. It’s easy for market leaders to become complacent, but we’ve invested a great deal of time and effort in making sure that we don’t rest on our laurels – to keep innovating and striving to improve our business and the way we do things. This award, which is one of the highlights of London Wine Fair and a major event in the calendar, is testament to that effort and investment and the benefits that the constant pursuit of innovation is bringing to us and our customers.”
