Investec Asset Finance plc (Investec) has been confirmed as the headline sponsor of the 2019 International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX), the UK's largest trade fair for the supply chain and intralogistics sectors.
This is the second time Investec has supported IMHX as headline sponsor: the company took the same role for the event in 2016.
IMHX director, Rob Fisher, commented: "We are delighted to be working with Investec again. IMHX is a tri-annual event and securing this partnership with a world-renowned and respected brand such as Investec when the show is still nearly two years away, is a tremendous boost for IMHX 2019 and reflects the unprecedented levels of interest that the event is already generating.”
Andrew Woodward, head of Investec Asset Finance’s materials handling division, said: "IMHX is a flagship event in the materials handling industry, one that is essential for its development and a champion for the UK’s £75 billion logistics sector. We are very proud to reinforce our long-term commitment to this sector by taking on the role as headline sponsor.
"By working with IMHX we’re able to get closer to the sector and get a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities that logistics and supply chain professionals face. In this way we can make sure that we’re more relevant to our clients and can provide better support and help where needed.
Investec’s Materials Handling Division offers a range of services from financing multi-asset deals to providing standard contracts or staged payment financing.
IMHX 2019 takes place at Birmingham's NEC on 24th-27th September 2019. Over half of the available floor space at the show has already been allocated with many of the most influential suppliers of supply chain and intralogistics solutions among the confirmed exhibitors.
