Industore opens UK demo centre

In celebration of 20 years, Industore recently opened its new state-of-the-art Hänel demonstration and training centre for the UK and Irish markets at its headquarters in Cardiff.
The new, high-tech facility houses the latest in automated storage systems, including vertical lifts and carousels from the renowned German manufacturer, and has been officially opened by Managing Director of Hänel GmbH Germany and Switzerland Mr Joachim Hänel.
The centre will allow Industore, a specialist in automated storage and retrieval solutions, to welcome new clients to get hands-on experience with modern technologies such as the Lean-Lift and Rotomat systems, whilst providing training and support for its rapidly expanding customer base.
Hänel GmbH has over 60 partners in the global market, with Industore as the exclusive distributer in the UK and Ireland. Over the two decades Industore has sold over 1,400 systems to a portfolio of clients including Audi, Renishaw, Alstom Transport UK, Shell UK, Boston Scientific and Hewlett Packard.
The directors at Industore invited a number of staff, clients and public sector figures to their opening ceremony, and spoke of their pleasure to be celebrating their first 20 years in the industry as well as the investment of such an exclusive hub for the city.
Ross Powell, Industore’s Managing Director, said: "Welcoming Mr Hänel into our new environment here in the heart of Cardiff was a momentous occasion for myself and for our guests during our milestone anniversary.

"We have an exciting year planned for Industore and thanks to our new demonstration centre we can showcase these fantastic German systems locally and promote automated storage to a wider audience.”
