QTS is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of wire mesh decks. Its mesh decks range EASYShelf is used daily in warehouses up and down the country. QTS began supplying wire mesh decks into the UK in 2006, with the first installation on behalf of Debenhams in Peterborough, which consisted of 2,000 units. At the time, these were supplied in partner factories in China and continued being the case until 2014 when it embarked on a brave mission to re-shore our manufacturing to the UK.
Since 2014 QTS has invested year-on-year into the manufacturing process for mesh decks. These investments have seen the project range for mesh decks expand exponentially to cater for the diverse storage solutions seen in today’s modern warehouses. Based within the logistics heartland of the East Midlands and positioned right on the doorstep of junction 28 of the M1; it is the ideal location to serve the ever-expanding nationwide customer base.
QTS never merely aims to produce a product but consult with our customers to design the right product and then deliver it within industry best lead times. The company’s success in being the only leading UK manufacturer of mesh decks sometimes overshadows its other product ranges, again manufactured in the UK. QTS’ Anti-Collapse system, RACKGuardian has been supplied extensively throughout the UK in both standard 50x50mm mesh but also in a 25x25 mesh for areas storing aerosols or high value goods.
With the continued investments into new machinery, the company is pleased to be re-launching at IMHX 2019 its new and much improved STORGuard system. The customer experience has been centric to many of these design changes with the most noticeable one being ease of installation, with less bolts to tighten up.
Since its inception in 2003 QTS has developed by listening to its customers. These comments provide the high level of motivation to make its solutions better each year.
