IMHX 2016 reaches maximum capacity

All available floorspace at the forthcoming IMHX 2016 event has been allocated. Visitors will thus get the chance to visit over 400 companies under the one roof of Birmingham’s NEC on September 13th-16th.

The exhibition attracted 20,000 visitors when it was last held in 2013, and with the 2016 floorspace some 25% greater than three years ago, organiser Informa Exhibitions – which co-owns the show with the British Industrial Truck Association (BITA) – is expecting a lively event.

“We’ve been extremely encouraged by the enthusiasm and energy being put into IMHX by the exhibitors,” says event director Rob Fisher. “The chance for the industry to come together in such numbers occurs only every three years, and I’m delighted by the way the exhibitors have been working very hard with us to ensure their key customers and potential customers have been invited to attend. We shall endeavour – as always – to deliver an event that showcases the excellence of the intralogistics sector, as well as highlighting the opportunities our industry offers.”

In tandem with the exhibition is a free-to-attend seminar programme featuring many of the industry’s biggest names. Please click here for further details.

Other must-visit attractions include the live heats of the RTITB International Operator of the Year Competition, in which 40 top fork lift truck operators will be tested to the limits over a series of challenges. There will also be a demo area, where visitors can see a selection of the latest intralogistics equipment being put through its paces.

A major theme of IMHX 2016 will be a focus on future skills. A dedicated zone between halls 8 & 9 will host organisations promoting education and skills within our industry.

Attention on Thursday evening will turn to the SHD Logistics Awards, where the finalists will be among 500+ guests awaiting the immortal words “…and the winner is...” Tickets to this black-tie event at Resorts World Birmingham have been selling fast, with only a few tables left. Please visit www.shdlogistics.com/awards to secure your place. The Design4Safety Awards will also be presented during the evening.

With many exhibitors launching new products and services, and representation from across all disciplines of intralogistics exhibiting at IMHX 2016, it promises to offer something for everyone.
