The UK’s leading door manufacturer, Hörmann, has helped to raise money for the Alzheimers Society, which funds research and support for people living with Dementia.
Hörmann doubled its entry fee for the Innes England relay event in Nottingham to £400 to help the charity. Their team, which consisted of Managing Director, David Newcombe, Ceri Davies and engineers, Matt Irons and Darryl Beale, completed the 16 laps in 46 minutes resulting in 8th place.
The event was just one of the charitable causes supported by Hörmann, which takes part in several charity sport events each year. Previous challenges have included the Great North Run, charity golf days, Farmageddon and the Italian Job cycle event.
