Speculation is mounting that House of Fraser is to take its 750,000 sq ft Midlands warehouse requirement to Peterborough.
Roxhill’s 240-acre Gateway Peterborough site is strongly tipped to win the monster NC requirement, which first surfaced late last year.
Knight Frank is understood to be advising the retailer on a requirement generated by its growing e-commerce business.
In January, SHD Logistics exclusively reported that House of Fraser had chosen a shortlist of sites after a search along the M1 corridor from Sheffield to Northamptonshire.
Roxhill did not respond to SHD Logistics' request to comment. Knight Frank declined to comment.
If confirmed, House of Fraser will join Yearsley at the Peterborough site. Yearsley signed up for a 385,000 sq ft unit on the site which has permission for 5m sq ft of development.
