Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has signed up for 85,262 sq ft in Daventry.
The deal – at Prologis Apex Park - takes one of the East Midlands’ handful of speculative shed developments off the market.
Prologis started construction speculatively on the new distribution centre at the end of August 2015 and completion is scheduled for April this year.
Hellmann will use the facility to service a number of new and existing customers. Hellman are long-term clients of Prologis in the United States and Europe.
“We decided to build speculatively at Prologis Apex Park because Daventry is a prime location for logistics operators,” said Andrew Griffiths, managing director of Prologis UK. “We focus on providing the best opportunities in the market for our customers, so we are pleased that this unit suits Hellmann’s operations so well.”
